GreenEngineer ("we", "us") sets out below how it handles users' personal information and cookies on Putt Break Lab ("this site").

1. Information we collect

1-1. Information collected through the contact form

When you contact us, you enter the following:

• Your name (or a handle)
• Your email address
• The subject and body of your enquiry

We also automatically record the sending IP address and the date and time, for the purpose of preventing abuse.

1-2. Information collected through analytics

This site may use Google Analytics, an analytics tool provided by Google LLC, to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the following, in a form that does not identify you personally:

• The URLs of the pages viewed and the time spent on them
• The referring URL and search terms
• Browser type, OS, screen size and approximate region

You can disable data collection by Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

1-3. Information collected through advertising

This site may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense. This information does not include your name, address, email address or telephone number.

You can turn off the use of cookies by Google and other third-party providers at Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party providers' cookies in bulk at aboutads.info.

1-4. Values entered into the calculator

Distances, slopes, green speeds and other values entered into the calculator on this site are processed entirely within your browser. They are never sent to or stored on our servers. For convenience, your inputs are saved in your browser's local storage, and you can delete them from your browser settings.

2. Purposes of use

• To reply to enquiries and make any necessary contact
• To understand how this site is used and to improve its content and features
• To deliver advertising and measure its effectiveness
• To prevent unauthorised access, abuse and other improper use

3. About email address confirmation

To check that the email address you enter is valid, the contact form sends a confirmation link to that address before your enquiry is submitted. Your enquiry is not passed to us until that link is used, and unconfirmed data is deleted automatically after a fixed period (24 hours).

4. Disclosure to third parties

We do not disclose personal information we have collected to third parties, except:

• With your consent
• Where required by law
• Where it is necessary to protect someone's life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent

Note that, as described in 1-2 and 1-3 above, information is sent to the respective service providers through cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising.

5. Retention period

Enquiries and related records are deleted promptly once they are no longer needed, after the matter has been dealt with. Unconfirmed enquiry data is deleted automatically 24 hours after submission.

6. Requests for disclosure, correction or deletion

If you would like the personal information we hold to be disclosed, corrected, suspended from use or deleted, please contact us through the contact form. We will confirm that the request comes from you and respond within a reasonable period.

We may change this policy as necessary. Any changes take effect when they are posted on this page.
