Terms of Use

These terms set out the conditions for using Putt Break Lab ("this site"), provided by GreenEngineer ("we", "us"). By using this site you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

Article 1 (Scope)

These terms apply to the use of all content and tools provided by this site.

Article 2 (Status of the calculated results)

1. The calculator on this site displays the result of a physical model based on the conditions you enter. It is not equipment for striking a ball, and it has no capability to measure a struck ball.
2. The calculation rests on a number of simplifications, including treating the green as a single uniform plane at the average gradient. Real greens are affected by complex undulations, uneven turf, wind and temperature, so the calculated result will not match how the ball actually rolls.
3. The results are reference information only. We make no warranty as to their accuracy, completeness or fitness for any particular purpose. Use them at your own risk, including for decisions in competition.

Article 3 (Prohibited conduct)

When using this site you must not:

1. Violate laws, regulations or public order and morals
2. Infringe the copyright, trademark or other rights of us or of a third party
3. Interfere with the operation of this site or place an excessive load on its servers
4. Gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access, or probe for vulnerabilities
5. Use the contact form for abuse, bulk commercial messaging or impersonation
6. Make large volumes of automated requests or harvest content by automated means
7. Do anything else we consider inappropriate

Article 4 (Intellectual property)

Copyright in the text, images, figures, programs and other content published on this site belongs to us or to the rightful owner. You may not reproduce, republish, modify or redistribute it beyond the scope of fair quotation without permission. When quoting, please cite the URL of this site as the source.

Article 5 (Changes to and suspension of the service)

We may change, add to, suspend or discontinue the content of this site without prior notice to users. We are not liable for any loss arising to users as a result.

Article 6 (Limitation of liability)

1. Except where we have acted with intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for any loss arising to users from the use of this site.
2. We are not responsible for the content of external sites linked from this site.
3. We do not warrant that this site will be available without interruption or free from errors.

Article 8 (Changes to these terms)

We may change these terms without prior notice to users where we consider it necessary. The revised terms take effect when they are posted on this page.

These terms are governed by Japanese law. In the event of a dispute concerning this site, the court with jurisdiction over our location shall be the exclusive court of first instance by agreement.
